Wow, Mac, we must have posted those almost on top of each other. :o

Could you walk me thru that in a bit more detail? I'm not sure I'm following you. One, I'm not sure what you mean by reg.uninstall and where to find it. For the other, if you're talking about the programs list in the start menu, that stuff is already gone, but the problem still exists.

Could you in fact be the expert I seek? Coolness. 8)

And another round at ya. :D

Yeah the start menu thing is what I'm talking about...Bring the programs up,highlite game and start at the very last part and delete. Now ye said thier still in the install/remove program?what ye got to do is restore yer pc tew sometime befer ye tried tew uninstall them, then ye can do the first thing I mentioned.Remember tew save any thing ye have done after the restore date er ye'll loose it. ;)"Expert" yer funny ;DJust a expert pc killer be mi ! ;DSo I do things mere carefully now is all. This pc is totally mine now so I aint got a maintenance backup fer it. ;)Thats why I have two virus programs and four diff. firewalls ;D

Darn. You're assuming , my friend, that I 'm a sensible person who backs up his system by regularly making restore disks. I know I've been gone for a while, but does no one remember that I'm a total idiot? ???

Thanks just the same, I guess I'm stuck with a factory restore. Not too critical since I got a new hard drive; I can just back everything up with a drive-to-drive copy, factory restore, then go through the tediuos process of sticking everything back in after I've re-installed the game.

Cheers, mate.

I think I read about this somewhere.
If you can give me 24 hours, I'll see if I can find it.

I recall editing a file to allow uninstalling windows messenger from the add-remove program thingy a while back.

Would you like instructions to remove the programs from the registry?
